Code of Ethics for Data-Based Value Creation

The Swiss Data Alliance co-publisher of a code of ethics for data-based value creation from data. The code is aimed at all organizations that offer services or products based on data.

The purpose of the code is to systematically address the ethical issues that arise in the creation or use of data-based products and services. We define "data-based products and services" as anything that creates added value for a customer by using data, models based on data, or data-generated knowledge as a necessary component of value creation. The Code makes recommendations on how these ethical issues can be addressed in concrete terms.
