The white paper on AI-ready data was developed in 2026 by a working group of more than 80 participants led by the Swiss Data Alliance and edited by Prof. Dr. Christine Legner (University of Lausanne), Prof. Dr. Diego Kuonen (Statoo Consulting & University of Geneva), and André Golliez (Swiss Data Alliance).

It was announced during the 2026 Swiss Data Space Forum and discussed during a breakout session.
