The whitepaper on AI-ready data was developed in 2026 by a working group of more than 80 participants led by the Swiss Data Alliance and edited by Prof. Dr. Christine Legner (University of Lausanne), Prof. Dr. Diego Kuonen (Statoo Consulting & University of Geneva), and André Golliez (Swiss Data Alliance).

It was announced during the course of the Swiss Data Space Forum 2026 and discussed during a breakout session.
